In a move to strengthen the leadership of Phillips-Europe, a strategic business unit of US-based Phillips Industries, Julita Mazurkiewicz has been appointed to the Management Board of Phillips-Europe.
Julita joined Phillips-Europe last year as commercial proxy and general counsel. Before this, she worked at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang law firm in Warsaw, Poland. She specialized in M&A and corporate restructuring. Her role at Phillips-Europe has been expanded in recognition of the impact she has exerted since joining the company.
“Julita has shown in her time with Phillips-Europe a clear understanding of how to implement our strategies in the European market,” commented Pete Joy, president of Phillips-Europe. “We have significant goals to grow our business in this market, and she is the ideal candidate to drive that initiative.”
“I am excited about the challenge of developing Phillips in Europe,” Mazurkiewicz said. “My key objective would be to repeat the success that Phillips has achieved in the US, or preferably, to outgrow it.”
Phillips-Europe is a strategic business unit of California-based Phillips Industries. They supply 24v electrical and air brake components to the European commercial vehicle market.
