Phillips-Europe, a strategic business unit of US-based Phillips Industries, has hired Grzegorz Handzlik as European sales director.

Phillips-Europe, a strategic business unit of US-based Phillips Industries, has hired Grzegorz Handzlik as European sales director. In his new role, Handzlik will focus on building the Phillips brand of 24v electrical and air brake system components and gaining new business throughout the Eurozone with products developed and produced to meet the demands of this market.

Before joining Phillips Europe, Handzlik spent more than two decades in the automotive industry. As part of the General Motors European sales & marketing team, he launched the Opel Mokka in the European market. Later, leading the Opel Poland sales department, his team doubled Opel sales in Poland in 2013 – 2017. His last position at Opel was managing director, Opel Poland. Throughout his 25-year automotive career, his hard work and dedication have resulted in professional advances. Handzlik holds a Master of Economics from Cracow Economics University and is fluent in Polish, English, and German.
