MEILLER will be presenting its extensive product portfolio from 17 to 22 September 2024 at the world’s leading trade fair for commercial vehicles, logistics and the transportation sector. From diesel to electric drive systems, the superstructure manufacturer has prepared a variety of chassis for the trade fair, offering visitors an entire spectrum of developments that indicate that the long-established enterprise is ready to embrace a sustainable future.
Giants such as the MAXTREME H436 with its chain flap and the MAXTREME P450 for the Chilean market will be on display. These extremely robust heavy rear tippers are designed to the highest MEILLER quality standards for maximum loads and extreme transportation volumes. These characteristics are brought to the fore through the new name “MAXTREME”. The heavy rear tippers can transport up to 28 cubic metres and up to 50 tonnes of heavy material. The “chain flap” is an example of a new equipment highlight. Anybody deciding to obtain this rear flap for their body will receive a body lock that can be opened and closed mechanically. MEILLER addresses the needs of customers with this new development, as many have expressed a desire for an alternative to existing tailgate options. In addition to the free movement of the top-hinged tailgate and the hydraulic solution, customers can now also enjoy the “chain flap” which combines the advantages of the two previous tailgates.
The tipping semi-trailer also bears a new name, with “GRANDLOAD” emphasising a maximum load and familiar MEILLER quality and reliability. Optimised in terms of weight, but still a robust design, the MEILLER tipping semi-trailer impresses both on the road and in difficult terrain. Powerful MEILLER hydraulics ensure speedy and secure tipping and lowering, a trump card primarily enjoyed over short distances with frequent tipping operations.
The presentation venue once again plays host to the TRIGENIUS three-way tipper series. As a full liner, the Munich enterprise builds solutions ranging from the TRIGENIUS D202 for the transporter class to the TRIGENIUS D428 for four-axle chassis of differing sizes designed to address the most varied of applications. MEILLER will be presenting its patented crane mounting concept at the IAA 2024. Crane mounting is achieved solely through screw fittings, thus dispensing completely with welding. This creates efficiency advantages during mounting of the crane and considerably improves the surface quality of the vehicle and tipper frame. A TRIGENIUS D212, which is a tipper for heavy 2-axle vehicles, will be exhibited with a crane at the IAA. The new crane mounting concept sees MEILLER responding to the ever-increasing demand for tippers with a crane. In addition to addressing transportation options for bulk materials, these versatile champions also offer enourmous advantages, as they can load and unload themselves independently. This dispenses with the need for further vehicles.
The TECTRUM RS21.70 hooklift with its appropriate TECTRUM trailer (container transport trailer) will be on show in the outside exhibition area. The hooklift impresses through its enclosed frame profile with a low tare weight and lengthy service life. The new low-friction container supports made of high-strength plastic and the purely electrically powered chassis make the hooklift ideal for assignments in towns or cities and residential areas.
A further innovation on the MEILLER trade fair stand is the TECTRIS AK14 skip loader, a solution with a nominal load of 14 tonnes optimised for twin-axle chassis with different drive systems. MEILLER has further improved its reliable skip loader series through targeted re-engineering. The reinforced loading platform design makes the TECTRIS AK14 even more efficient and, in common with many other products from MEILLER, it is subjected to cathodic dip coating. This process ensures optimum protection against corrosion that even protects intermediate spaces. This means that, in combination with the i.s.a.r.-control 3 radio remote control, the customer receives a superstructure that is easy to operate and simplifies the working process through sequence control.
