On December 31, 2018 Robert Otto, head of marketing & press, will leave the long-established Waltrop company.
Robert Otto joined the company in October 2013. The complete marketing as well as the press relations were restructured by him from the ground up. He considerably contributed to the modernization and the up-to-date appearance of the brand.
Otto can look back on many years of experience in his professional life. Important stations were other large commercial vehicle manufacturers as well as commercial vehicle rental companies. Whether owner-managed or in a company group – Robert Otto successfully contributed to the growth and the positive image of those companies also in his previous positions.
After having worked over five years for Langendorf he is attracted back to his previous job as a specialised journalist. The focus here will be especially on the trailer sector.

Until a successor is found, the position will temporarily be managed internally and with external support. In addition, Robert Otto will assist the company in an advisory role for a transitional period.
