In summer 2023, Krone will introduce the new “Krone Trusted Tyre Comfort” (KT231) tyre generation. The new trailer tyre with 5 t load capacity features a robust base, a reinforced carcass and a widened tread. The rolling resistance label “B” stands for low rolling resistance, while at the same time the Krone KT231 is characterised by short braking distances and a long service life. Other features include suitability for regional and long-distance traffic as well as distribution. The snowflake symbol (3PMSF) indicates the high performance potential even under wintry conditions, which is required especially in Central and Northern Europe.
The tread depth of 18 mm ensures that the performance characteristics are maintained at a high level throughout the entire service life. The new Krone KT231 carries the “Powered by Germany” label and offers a cost advantage of up to 35 percent. The Krone trailer tyres introduced in 2012 have proven themselves, among other things, with an outstandingly low complaint rate of only 0.007 percent.
Krone Managing Director Ralf Faust: “Our new KT231 trailer tyre is a guarantee for durability, quality and joint success. With this new tyre technology, we can now offer our customers throughout Europe an even more economical and safer solution for their trailer tyres.“
