Ekoenergetyka-PolskaS.A., the European leader in fast-charging infrastructure, proudly announces the launch of the SAT1500 MCS and a ground breaking technology power module at this year’s IAA Transportation, marking a significant milestone in e-truck charging solutions.
The e-truck sector currently faces significant challenges: the urgent need for rapid megawatt charging solutions, space limitations, and a transitional market phase due to the early stages of MCS implementation. Ekoenergetyka’s SAT1500, with its powerful megawatt unit system, directly addresses these issues by supporting hybrid charging hubs that can accommodate all generations of trucks, whether equipped with MCS or CCS connectors.
The SAT1500 MCS system supports demanding logistics schedules by enabling a full charge within a standard 45-minute break, aligning with operational and legal needs to enhance fleet efficiency. Designed to deliver impressive power – up to 1440 kW, this cutting-edge system uniquely features dual outputs for simultaneous charging of two trucks, maximizing space efficiency and operational flexibility in constrained areas.
“Ekoenergetyka is dedicated to advancing the technology that powers tomorrow’s e-mobility,” said Bartosz Kubik, CEO of Ekoenergetyka. “Our new products not only meet current market demands but are designed to evolve with the industry, ensuring long-term relevance and sustainability.“
Ekoenergetyka has introduced a cutting-edge hybrid charging hub, equipped with six outputs—five CCS and one MCS—powered by four Axon Side 360 DLBS units, delivering a formidable total of 1440 kW. Each output has a minimum power of 400 kW, which meets the requirements of the Deutschlandnetz program. Dynamic power management system not only supports simultaneous charging of up to six vehicles but also adapts in real-time to the specific power needs of each vehicle, ensuring efficient distribution of power.
Optimized for a diverse range of electric vehicles, from passenger cars to e-buses and heavy-duty e-trucks, the hub enhances charging capabilities with a focus on high-demand applications. Its innovative design allows for prioritizing vehicles that require more intensive power, such as the SAT1500 MCS satellite, ensuring that each vehicle receives a guaranteed minimum power while maximizing overall efficiency—achieving up to 100% operational efficiency.
Marcin Graczykowski, Director of Product Management at Ekoenergetyka, comments: “Our latest hybrid charging hub is designed with the capability to adapt to both current and future market needs. With its advanced design, it not only supports a diverse range of electric vehicles but also sets new standards for power efficiency and operational flexibility in the industry.“
During IAA Transportation 2024, Ekoenergetyka not only showcased a product premiere but also unveiled the new power module of their production. The company’s focus has been on reducing downtime and enhancing operational availability through powerful charging solutions. Ekoenergetyka’s commitment to innovation is demonstrated by the in-house production of the SICedge Multi Range Power Modules. The modules showcase multi-range voltage performance. They are MCS compliant and boast an impressive 97.5% efficiency, thanks to the cutting-edge Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology.
“At Ekoenergetyka, we’re not just keeping pace with technological advancements; we’re setting the standards by presenting SICedge Multi Range Power Module,” said Marcin Hołub, Director of Power Module Development at Ekoenergetyka.
Ekoenergetyka presented the Munich stations at this year’s IAA Transportation, demonstrating the practical application of their latest innovations. At the Munich bus depot, Ekoenergetyka is currently deploying 98 liquid-cooled charging stations, all utilizing new SICedge Multi Range Power Modules.
