IVECO focuses on sustainable technology at the Brussels Motor Show

IVECO showcases its offering of sustainable solutions for all missions in the light and medium commercial vehicle sectors with a particular focus on its industry-leading Natural Power CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) technology.

IVECO presents the new Daily 4×4, which offers a full line-up of off- and all-road vehicles, and introduces the first 7-tonne GVW 4×4 vehicle with payload up to 4,300 kg in the market.

IVECO is participating in the 96th Brussels Motor Show, held in Brussels (EXPO) from 18th to 27th of January 2019, with a stand focused on the light and medium commercial vehicle lines featuring its Natural Power CNG technology, after having made history at the IAA 2018 with the first 100% diesel-free stand.

The natural gas vehicles on display – a semi-windowed Daily van, a Daily chassis cab with platform, a Daily van for parcel deliveries and a Eurocargo medium truck – show the extensive variety of missions IVECO’s Natural Power offering can cover.

IVECO is also presenting the latest generation of the Daily 4×4 family, which has been significantly renewed and extended to offer for the first time a full line-up of off- and all-road vehicles. Completing the display at the exhibition is the Daily Hi-Matic equipped with its highly efficient diesel engine and advanced 8-speed automatic transmission, which combines extremely low emissions with ultimate driving pleasure.

In addition, the Daily Natural Power van with the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition livery that was displayed at IAA has been selected by the Motor Show’s organisers for display on the “Most Loved Van” stand, highlighting the popularity of IVECO’s natural gas Daily range.

IVECO’s display at the Brussels Motor Show highlights how the brand is able to meet the specific requirements of all missions for light and medium commercial vehicles.

IVECO’s exclusive Hi-Matic transmission is at the heart the brand’s solutions for city centres and suburban transport on the stand. The Daily Hi-Matic Natural Power, the first light commercial vehicle featuring a 3.0 litre CNG engine with an 8-speed automatic gearbox in the industry, offers the perfect combination of low-emission fuel and driveability in urban areas. Part of the sustainable Daily Blue Power family that was crowned “Van of the Year” 2018, it is the perfect solution for transport in the typical last mile, stop-and-go city centre missions. To highlight the variety of missions the Daily Hi-Matic Natural Power can cover, three models are on display: a semi-windowed van bearing the Daily’s 40th anniversary livery; a chassis cab equipped with a Scattolini platform; and a van equipped for parcel deliveries by Spier with a personalisation designed by Garage Italia Custom to commemorate the Daily’s anniversary. Completing the display of vehicles for this sector is a Daily Hi-Matic chassis cab equipped with a recovery platform, shown with a racing Ferrari car.

IVECO is presenting an important new introduction that offers for the first time a full line-up off- and all-road missions with cab, van, chassis cowl and crew cab versions: the latest generation Daily4x4. The offering of IVECO’s ‘go-anywhere’ vehicle has been extended with a host of new versions. These include the model on display at the Motor Show, the first 7-tonne GVW 4×4 vehicle with payload up to 4,300 kg in the market with a choice of body lengths up to 5 m. The new generation 4×4 also offers IVECO’s class-exclusive Hi-Matic gearbox, as well as top safety features such as disk brakes with ABS and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) specifically developed for the 4×4 vehicle.

Showcasing IVECO’s sustainable solutions for heavier urban missions is the Eurocargo NP, the CNG version of “The truck the city likes”, which perfectly meets the requirements of this sector with extremely low emissions and quiet operation, ideal for night-time urban deliveries.
