At the 2024 Goodyear FIA ETRC end-of-season awards, the focus was not just on the champions of the race track but also on the remarkable strides made in the sustainability transformation of the championship. As motorsport works towards a greener future, every team, partner and organiser has played a vital role in reducing the sport’s environmental impact.
One team that stood out this season was T Sport Bernau. In 2022, the team was recognised for its continued commitment to sustainable practices, becoming the first team in the Goodyear FIA ETRC to receive the FIA One-Star Environmental Accreditation.
This year, they raised the bar even higher, becoming the first team in the championship to achieve the prestigious FIA Two-Star Environmental Accreditation.
In recognition of their sustainability efforts, T Sport Bernau received the Green Star Award, introduced this year by the promoter of the championship, to honour teams leading the way in sustainability within the Goodyear FIA ETRC.
T Sport Bernau’s dedication to reducing their environmental footprint serves as an inspiration to the entire paddock, showcasing the positive impact teams can have in driving motorsport towards a greener, more sustainable future.
