F-MAX, the new tractor by Ford Trucks and the winner of the 2019 International Truck of the Year award, hits the roads for its European tour of eight countries. The tour started in Bulgaria and will come to an end in the Czech Republic on June 11. Ford Trucks aims to strengthen its presence with this roadshow in its existing markets with F-MAX. Meanwhile, Ford Trucks’ efforts to expand its dealership and aftersales in Western Europe has gained momentum following the international recognition achieved by the new tractor.
F-MAX, which has become one of the key assets in the global expansion of Ford Trucks with features that redefine the level of competition in the international transportation industry, hits the road for an eight-country European roadshow.
In the wake of the success enjoyed in the Middle East, Africa, Russia and Turkic Republics, Ford Trucks maintains rapid growth in Europe with the opening of new dealerships. Ford Trucks also strengthens its position in the global markets with its new tractor, the F-MAX – the 2019 International Truck of the Year award winner that premiered last year at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover, Germany.
F-MAX European Tour, which started in Bulgaria on April 2, will last nearly three months. The tour visits 18 locations in eight countries, including Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and the Czech Republic, meeting Ford Trucks customers at each stop.
“We will go a long way toward increasing our market share by reaching our target audience directly”
“As a company that combines 60 years of experience with the capabilities to manufacture products tailored to different export markets, Ford Trucks continues its global expansion,” says Serhan Turfan, Vice President, Ford Trucks. “The recognition and popularity that the all-new F-MAX, which we designed and developed from scratch, has gained in the global arena is the driver of our international expansion efforts. We are now setting off on an eight-country European roadshow with this prestigious vehicle with the slogan ‘The New Big is in Town’; and we are delighted to promote the F-MAX again in each of these countries. We are confident that these promotion activities aimed at our customers will further strengthen our presence in these markets.”
Expansion in Western Europe to continue
Ford Trucks aims to increase the number of markets in which it operates from 36 to over 50 by the end of 2020. The F-MAX European roadshow targeting Central and Eastern Europe aims to increase presence in the region while Ford Trucks accelerates expansion plans in West European markets starting 2019.
