Thermomax, Norwegian trucking company specializing in domestic deliveries, announces a 100 percent renewal of its fleet. Since the company aims to utilize environmentally friendly and efficient trucks, it is believed this change will both contribute significantly to sustainable development of the company as well as be a part of the change in the industry to put more effort in saving environment.
Tore Rødsten, CEO at Thermomax is breaking good news by explaining full fleet renewal means a significant step forward for a middle size trucking company such as Thermomax.
“We are happy to be a part of this growth when our company is renewing its entire fleet. Besides benefit for the environment as brand new fleet contributes to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, new equipment also plays a significant role in improving working conditions for our truck drivers. New fleet stands out for larger cabins, better air conditioning, the latest technological advancements making operating the truck much easier”, – tells Tore Rødsten.
In May Thermomax received 22 new Volvo FH4 Classic trucks working 540 AG engines that already changed 100 percent of the entire fleet used currently. And this coming fall eight new trucks will be added for fleet’s expansion, making it of 30 new trucks in total.
Tore Rødsten also highlights the idea of new trucks maximizing not only drivers’ comfort but also road security. “Since new trucks adhere to the newest safety standards, we believe making an effort to protect our employees as well as other road users is of great importance and should definitely remain one in the future”.
