The all-electric Nissan e-NV200 proved itself a top choice this week by picking up the award for Zero Emission LCV of the Year at the Commercial Fleet Awards 2019.
The awards, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, celebrate the contributions of outstanding individuals, companies and manufacturers within the commercial fleet industry.
Stephen Briers, Editor in Chief of Commercial Fleet and head of the judging panel, said: “The e-NV200 has favourable total cost of ownership compared to diesel rivals. Now established as a viable electric van, it has a strong warranty, fast speed of charging and residual values are strengthening as more come into the used market.”
Collecting the award on the night was Andrea Patti, LCV category manager at Nissan Motor GB. He commented: “Winning this award is a testament to the strength of e-NV200 in the fleet market. To see it continue to receive such high praise is fantastic and I’m proud to be able to accept it on behalf of Nissan Motor GB.”
Since it was first launched in 2014, the Nissan e-NV200 has enjoyed sales success across Europe.
With the latest 40kWh battery, the Nissan e-NV200 can cover 124-187 miles (WLTP City and Combined cycle) between charges. For business users it also offers a 705kg payload and enough cargo space to accommodate two Euro pallets. There’s also a choice of people-carrier versions, available with 5 or 7 seats, which further add to its practicality.
Alongside the Nissan LEAF, the Nissan e-NV200 is at the forefront of Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility strategy by employing intelligent power, intelligent driving and intelligent integration to contribute towards a more efficient and connected society.
