At the ‘Transport Compleet‘ trade fair in Hardenberg, the Netherlands, from 14 to 16 June, Krone will be exhibiting two genuine all-round vehicles that are particularly in demand in the Netherlands – the Box Liner eLTU 70 container chassis and the Profi Liner semitrailer. The Box Liner eLTU 70 is suitable for all container sizes and can also accommodate tank and swap containers. Thanks to the combination of centre extension and traction rear, top values in terms of fifth-wheel load are achieved in this vehicle class when transporting 20′ containers flush with the rear. The exhibition model is equipped with a generator set that enables the temperature-controlled transport of refrigerated containers. It has its own fuel tank so that the cold chain is not interrupted during road transport.
With the Profi Liner, Krone vividly presents the trailer’s diverse range of applications in combination with numerous load securing solutions offered by the practical and clever Krone Multi Safe System. The modular system is based on the patented Multilock outer frame, which provides around 130 lashing holes on each side of the vehicle. These can be loaded with 2,000 daN (~kg) each. Multi Lock is combined with the robust Multiblock loading beam, so that more than 3,000 lashing options are possible. The other expansion stages of the Krone Multi Safe system range from the additional flexible end wall Multi Wall, Multi Fix for pipes and Multi Block Paper for paper rolls to the screwable pallet stop elements Multi Screw.
The team of the Dutch Krone Trailer B.V. will also present the attractive offers of the Krone 360° Trailer Service, from which Krone customers can put together tailor-made service packages according to their requirements. With the help of the various service offers, transport companies can reduce unplanned downtimes and thus optimise their total operating costs in the long term.
André Menzing, Managing Director of the sales company Krone B.V. in the Netherlands, is looking forward to this year’s Transport Compleet: “The transport industry in particular thrives on personal contact and direct exchange. After the long break due to Corona, we are therefore particularly pleased to finally be able to welcome our customers and the many interested parties back to our stand.“
