Arriva brings the keys to decarbonizing passenger transport at Global Mobility Call

Arriva is participating for the third consecutive year in the Global Mobility Call (IFEMA MADRID, November 19–21) as a Connected Partner and will host a stand (3C10) to serve as a hub for meetings and knowledge exchange.

In the third edition of Global Mobility Call, organized by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, Arriva returns as a Connected Partner to this must-attend event for all stakeholders in the exciting world of mobility. This sector is undergoing a profound transformation toward a more efficient, connected, and sustainable service model focused on the movement trends of people.

In this dynamic space, held from November 19 to 21 at IFEMA MADRID, Arriva will host a thematic forum and deliver a series of informative talks at its stand, 3C10.

In its forum, Arriva will open a discussion on achieving seamless mobility in urban and interurban environments—a challenge that requires innovative, collaborative strategies with leading sector stakeholders.

Arriva Forum – INSPIRE Agora. Track 2. Urban Mobility: Public Transport and Shared Mobility Solutions

  • Wednesday, November 20, 10:50–11:30 AM: “Sustainable Integration of Urban and Interurban Territories” 

Moderator: Antonio Cendrero, CEO, Arriva Spain.

Participants: Pablo Rodríguez Sardinero, Managing Director, Regional Consortium of Regular Public Transport of Madrid; Judit Fontela Baró, General of Mobility, Xunta de Galicia; Jaume Garcia Soler, Director of Good Governance, Legal, and Contracting, TMB and Lola Ortiz, Director General of Mobility Planning and Infrastructure, Madrid City Council.

In addition to serving as a meeting point for formal and informal discussions, Arriva’s stand will host two hands-on workshops offering practical insights into the transition within the passenger transport sector:

  • Tuesday, November 19, 11:00–11:30 AM: “Artificial Intelligence in Passenger Transport: Basics, Myths, and Practical Cases Demonstrating AI’s Impact on the Sector”.

  • Wednesday, November 20, 12:00–12:30 PM: “From Móstoles to Alcorcón: Zero-Noise, Zero-Emission, 100% Electric, 100% Connected Urban Transport. Insights from the implementation of the Alcorcón project and electrification of urban transport in Móstoles, exploring medium- and long-term challenges and opportunities.

At the third edition of Global Mobility Call, Arriva will showcase its flagship projects from the year and outline its future plans, including the progressive decarbonization of its operations in collaboration with public administrations, transport associations, suppliers, and other key industry stakeholders.
