Aerit, a pioneering company in the field of drone technology for last mile deliveries, including food, parcels, medicines, and other goods, has announced that it has filed for bankruptcy. Nils Åberg, Advokatfirman Carler, has been appointed administrator.

The company, which has developed innovative proprietary drone delivery hardware and software, has been unable to secure the necessary funding to continue its operations. Despite significant advancements, the current economic challenges have led to this difficult decision. Aerit has been at the forefront of leveraging drone technology to revolutionize delivery services, offering quick, efficient, and eco-friendly solutions.

As part of the bankruptcy proceedings, the assets of Aerit, including its proprietary drone technology (both software and hardware), and related intellectual property, will be offered for sale. The talented development team is still employed by the company and intact for the time being.

Interested parties will have an opportunity to acquire these assets and continue the development and deployment of drone logistics solutions, without having to take over any liabilities from the bankrupt company.

We are immensely proud of the impact we have had on the Swedish ecosystem and the drone industry as a whole. Our world-class, trailblazing team moved mountains in the most challenging conditions. We continue to have high hopes for a more equitable, sustainable, and accessible future, but Aerit, at least in its most recent form, will not be a part of it.,” said Alexander Perrien CEO and Founder of AeritWe believe that under new ownership, the technology and vision we have developed can continue to thrive and make a significant impact on the future of logistics.

Details regarding the sale process and how to express an interest in acquiring the company’s assets will be provided in the coming days. For more information, please contact Johan Sundström, Advokatfirman Carler at johan.sundstrom@carler.se.

Aerit wishes to thank its customers, employees, and partners for their unwavering support and dedication throughout its journey.
