SAF-HOLLAND revises its Parts on Demand (PoD) spare parts program: The supplier for commercial vehicle parts is collating its aftermarket brands on a single platform and has made it easier to use. In addition, the online catalogue at https://pod.safholland.de now has a new, more clearly structured design.
If a workshop needs a spare part from the SAF-HOLLAND product range, staff can use the virtual Parts on Demand directory and the SH CONNECT app to easily identify and order the part online. They can use the QR code reader in the SH CONNECT app to scan the code on the affected component. Within a few seconds, this opens the online catalogue with the respective product description and all relevant details. If the user now logs on to the PoD system on their tablet or smartphone, they can order the spare part directly and securely.
Clearly structured and user-friendly: Parts on Demand
For an even better user experience, SAF-HOLLAND has thoroughly revised its electronic spare parts catalogue and given it a clearer structure. With the new design, users can see more product information at a glance and obtain all technical details. They can individually configure parts of the user interface to customise their navigation experience on the platform. “With the new Parts on Demand program, we make ordering spare parts easier: Users can quickly find the individual components from all our brands and order them with little effort,” says Markus Prößler, Director Product Management/Quality Aftermarket Europe at SAF-HOLLAND.
SAUER QUALITY PARTS new in the online catalogue
The complete spare parts range of the SAUER QUALITY PARTS secondary brand will be integrated into the electronic PoD catalogue in the future. In addition to the typical wear parts for brake systems and air suspensions, the portfolio of the worldwide registered brand also includes air reservoirs, landing gear, lubricants and steel rims. In the area of SAUER QUALITY PARTS, the online catalogue also offers the options of OEM cross-referencing: Simply enter the original OEM part number and the system will automatically guide the user to the corresponding part from the SAF-HOLLAND secondary brand.
Focus on integrating V.ORLANDI continues
In a next step, the shop will be expanded with the components from supplier V.ORLANDI, which the SAF-HOLLAND Group acquired in 2018. The Italian company manufactures components such as couplings, crossmembers and drawbar eyes for trailers as well as special-purpose commercial vehicles.

Parts on Demand offers an overview of the product range from the SAF-HOLLAND Group: axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels and accessories, kingpins alongside landing gears and ball races. Special tools as well as exploded view drawings with part designations and order numbers are also integrated. The virtual directory is available in 13 languages and is accessed by 3,000 users every day. Parts on Demand contains SAF-HOLLAND products from the last 25 years and is updated monthly.
